Qualify your way up each ladder: a top finish unlocks the next track, and only the qualifiers make its grid. Every championship ends in a one-on-one drag race for the title.

Built for speed
Every world, from the rain-slick streets of New York to the regolith of the Moon, is generated, lit and wired for sound from scratch.
Spring-loaded thrusters hug the road at 90 Hz. Airbrake into corners, kiss the walls, and feel every ripple of the surface.
Hit the boost and watch the city smear into light. Top speed jumps from 340 to 460 km/h — if you can hold the line.
Neon cities, canyons, ski slopes, swamps, Titan's methane sea and a spinning ring station. Every facade, pine and asteroid is procedurally built and lit in HDRP.
Sheets of rain, splash and spray, steam venting from the streets; methane drizzle on Titan and dust storms on Mars. Engines, wind and weather are synthesized live as you drive.
Live gaps, split deltas and a record for every track. Qualify up each championship, beat your best, and watch “NEW RECORD!” light up. In the full game on Steam, every track has a world leaderboard, and there are achievements to earn.
Keyboard or gamepad, fully rebindable, with prompts that match your pad: Xbox, PlayStation or Steam Deck. Hints in your first races teach boost, airbrakes and respawn. Save mid-race and resume later. MPH or km/h, DLSS, motion blur and rain density all tunable.
Your best lap on every track comes back as a glowing, see-through ghost, and the timing card counts how far ahead or behind it you are.
Easy, Medium or Hard. On Medium and Hard they boost to the limit, take the boost pads, brake late and come back at you when they fall behind. Each one drives to their own style, and name tags show who's who in the pack ahead.
A drone swoops over the grid before the lights, circles your craft after the flag and flies the course behind the menus. Mid-race, switch between the chase camera, the drone's high look down the road and the cockpit, right over the canopy.
After the flag, replay the race from a side drone, a chase drone, trackside or any racer's cockpit, with a sky view looking straight down in a window you can swap in. Scrub, slow it down, save your best races and export them as video.
In the Garage, pick a chassis (Balanced, the straight-line Interceptor or the corner-carving Carver), then paint, engine glow and livery. Racing unlocks more, and beating a rival five times earns their colours.
Rap metal in the city, a heavy-metal guitar solo off-road and racing rock in space. It drops out for the countdown and hits back in at GO.

The competition
Five rivals from five corners of American racing, and each drives like it. Flip through the field as on the game's Drivers page: the bars come from the same numbers the AI drives by.
Dawsonville, Georgia
North Georgia moonshine running, where stock-car racing began
Her great-grandfather outran the revenue men on mountain roads at night with a trunk full of shine. Rebel learned to drive on the same roads and never learned to lift. The rest of the field calls her the one to beat, and she agrees.
SignatureBrakes later than anyone
WeaknessA ragged line: she uses all the road
Pomona, California
Southern California drag racing, a quarter mile at a time
Raised in the pits of the Pomona drag strip, where his father's nitro car was louder than anything else in the valley. Patriot counts reaction times in thousandths and has never lost a launch he could see coming. Corners are just the bits between straights.
SignatureThe quickest launch in the field
WeaknessScrubs speed in tight corners
Amarillo, Texas
West Texas ranch roads and Friday-night dirt ovals
Cowboy learned to drive on the long, empty farm-to-market roads of the Panhandle and learned car control sliding sideways on dirt ovals every Friday night. Says nothing, wastes nothing, and holds the same line lap after lap. You only notice him when he's already past.
SignatureSmooth: boosts through the sweepers
WeaknessA fraction short on top speed
Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin
Road America and the open-wheel ladder to IndyCar
Grew up at the fence at Road America, then climbed the junior open-wheel ladder and was two seasons from an IndyCar seat when the sponsor money ran dry. Nightshade took that precision to the street circuits and treats every corner like a qualifying lap. Unbeatable through the technical sections, out-dragged on the long ones.
SignatureThe best corner speed in the field
WeaknessGives away top speed on the straights
Detroit, Michigan
Detroit muscle cars and Woodward Avenue cruise nights
Built his first engine in his uncle's garage off Woodward Avenue at fourteen. Mustang believes every problem can be solved with more power, and on a long enough straight he's right. The newest name in the field, and the fastest thing on it flat out.
SignatureThe highest top speed in the field
WeaknessHeavy on the brakes, late to turn in
Your colours, your chassis
New blood on the grid
Nobody on the grid has heard of you yet. In the Garage, pick a chassis (Balanced, the straight-line Interceptor or the corner-carving Carver), then paint, engine glow and livery, with more unlocked as you race. The game keeps your head-to-head record against all five rivals: beat one five times and their colours are yours, but let one beat you too often and they become your nemesis, tagged in red on the road.
SignatureYours to make
Pick up and play
Every key is rebindable in Settings. Xbox and PlayStation pads and the Steam Deck work out of the box, and the prompts on screen name your pad's own buttons. The left stick drives the menus too.
